As part of our ‘States of Matter’ science topic we undertook an investigation this week. We wanted to find out if we would be able to observe gas escape from a jar of pebbles when we poured in water. Our predictions were quite different across the class so we were particularly interested in what would happen!

Once the water was poured in, we did observe the gas escape in the form of bubbles. As every good scientist knows, we recognised the importance of recording our observations clearly and neatly. Here is one example below.
